Collegiate cycling can be a great opportunity for students who are passionate about cycling to continue pursuing their sport while also earning a college education. Join Dave Hagen and me as we dive into the collegiate cycling scene so you can learn about how to bring your interest and passion to the collegiate level.
It’s difficult to not connect collegiate cycling with Dave Hagen. While serving as the director of the cycling program at Fort Lewis College (Durango, CO) for 18 years, he helped guide the Skyhawks to 15 USA Cycling Collegiate national championships in mountain biking and cyclocross. In addition to the team success, Hagen has also aided more than 30 individual national champions while at FLC across four disciplines: track, mountain biking, cyclocross and road racing. In is earlier career, Dave was a professional on the Yeti mountain biking team from 1991-93.
Cycling is a unique collegiate sport. Don’t miss out on hearing from one of the best collegiate program directors to learn what you can do to mesh your cycling with college success.
