Whatever you call it, the idea of college can bring about different emotions - excitement, stress, anxiety, joy. This list is certainly not exhaustive. But for some the college search process itself can be exhausting. I’m here to help change that. I want you to have an amazing experience as you launch into one of the most exciting decisions of you life. College is certainly lots of things - and it can be life changing - and it’s certainly not the same thing for everyone.

There are more than 4,000 colleges and universities in the United States. Some you’ve probably heard of - others you may not. 40% of the colleges/universities in the US enroll fewer than 1,000 students. There may even be a college in your city and/or neighboring town that you don’t know about.

Trade school. Community college. Four-year public. Four-year private. Liberal arts. Professional school. HBCU. HSI. NASNTI. TCU. Research institution. The labels and descriptions go on and on.

I created this blog to supplement the work I do with college-curious and college-bound students and families. Though it I will share information about college admissions, financial aid, scholarships, first-year success, and so much more!
